Hardy Garden Edibles:

Asparagus 'Jersey Knight'

'Jersey Knight' Asparagus

A marked improvement over 'Mary Washington' Asparagus, with a much higher percent of male plants which produce larger spears.  Patience is rewarded with a crop of Asparagus from your own garden!  Asparagus are heavy feeders that need their own spot in the garden to grow.  Wait 3 years after planting to start harvesting.
